THE "LET'S LEAVE THIS PLACE AS GREEN AS IT WAS BEFORE" PROJECT
After seeing how people have become messier and messier in recent years, we decided to start this project to remind people that we are spending a weekend in the countryside and we have no right to spoil it... We want people to think about the impact of their everyday behaviour... We want people to get involved even if they are hidden in the crowd... Yes, we came here to have fun, but we can have fun and act nicely at the same time! So, this is a call to every single visitor here to please act nicely: don't drop garbage on the ground, please collect it all and put it in the right place. That way, we can make sure we are leaving this place as green as it was before...
The festival site was a beautiful green field the night before the festival and honestly we feel more and more ashamed when we leave, to see the place all dirty and destroyed. We see how many cigarettes ends have been left and how many beer bottle tops have been pushed into the ground. We see all the branches from the surrounding woods cut and taken to the campsite and campfires in the middle of this beautiful green place... Of course, there are lots of people who spend time and energy cleaning the fields and picking up all the garbage that visitors have left on the ground, but at the same time there is no way of cleaning it 100% by picking up every single cigarette end or beer bottle top from the ground of the huge campsite, so there are always lots of small pieces of garbage left on the ground. We want people to think about it, because it's not necessary. I personally never dropped a single piece of garbage during the years of the fluff fest, so I know it's pretty easy! If every single person did the same, the place would still be nice and clean! And if you still really feel the need to drop garbage on the ground, a big plastic cup is better than a small bottle top or cigarette end, which is impossible to find when we are cleaning!
What you can do is simple: don't drop any garbage on the ground, especially not tiny items like beer bottle tops and cigarette ends. There will be different sizes of plastic garbage sacks available at the entrance for anyone who wants to collect their personal garbage. Please use them!
This place is not for one use only! After the festival, we really hope to see it as beautifully green as before. Thank you for your cooperation!..
